Bonus Material: Fredrik Backlund Tammerpokalen 2014

Some things are worth highlighting. In my world, usually that means something that comes from the heart. During our reportage at Tammer Training Camp 2014 we also shot some footage at Tammerpokalen. One of the athletes entering the competition was Fredrik Backlund from Lund. I decided to add his performance as bonus material on the YouTube channel. Not because he won, but because he displayed true passion for the sport. Thank you Fredrik!

Amazing performance, congratulations!

Honorary Award At Tammerpokalen 2014

It's probably impossible for you guys to have missed that I recently put out a big reportage from Tammer Training Camp and Tammerpokalen 2014. What I didn't put in that video was the video where I received a honorary award. I didn't really feel that it was relevant for the reportage. But, nevertheless, my girlfriend recorded the whole thing, and since it means the world for me, I'm putting the entire thing here on the website. Here you go!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you Anders!

Bringing Awesome Back Goes Tammer Training Camp 2014

It's yet again time for another reportage. This time Bringing Awesome Back heads up north to Tammer Training Camp and Tammerpokalen. The man behind the camp is none other than our Swedish bodybuilding legend Anders Graneheim. Anders, and his family, put their heart and soul into this project each year. They create opportunities as well as friendship for many of the people who are lucky enough to visit Lögdö Herrgård. This is a reportage with heart. From Bringing Awesome Back with love!

Fat To Fit | Fitnessgalan 2014 - Globen, Stockholm

How can a person who hates physical training suddenly become a highly motivated training freak? How does a body transformation from excessive abdominal skin to visible abs start? Fat to fit (or "Fet till fit") is a lecture by me, in Swedish, that describes a personal journey from 140 kilos (308 lbs) severe obesity to a fit physique. This is a lecture where I try to openly talk about the work that I've done with my body as well as with myself as a person. The work has included a body weight cut in half as well as skin removal surgery. I am extremely proud to have been presented this opportunity, and I hope you guys enjoy the lecture.

Bringing Awesome Back Goes Fitnessgalan 2014

It's yet again time for another reportage in the name of bodybuilding and fitness. This time Bringing Awesome Back travels all the way to Globen, Stockholm, visiting Fitnessgalan 2014. During my visit I held a lecture, talking about my journey from obesity to fitness. But, just as always, the visit also included a few good talks with various profiles within the industry. Keep your eyes wide open and prepare for over an hour of visual candy!

Bringing Awesome Back Goes Exhale Hardcore Gym

Yeah buddy! My girlfriend and I had an awesome weekend up in Gothenburg. The weekend was a celebration of sort, basically due to two things: a) my girlfriend's birthday is coming up, and b) she wanted to see a Backstreet Boys concert. Oh well, that's life, I did take her to see Alice Cooper. I guess we're even now. In any case, before heading home we decided to take a little detour and have a session at Exhale Gym. Luckily a few familiar faces turned up, so we decided on picking up the microphone and do a little reportage. Here it is folks!

Little photoshoot from the workout.

Don't you just love these two?

Bringing Awesome Back Goes Radio at BMR Grand Prix

The BMR Grand Prix over in Malmö came to an end this past Saturday, and so begins the report from the event. First out is a gift to all the Swedes out there. The full radio interview, in Swedish, with various athletes and profiles, recorded at the event, is finally here. The interviews are centered around motivation, and what drives these hard working individuals to perform at their very best in various aspects of their lives. This has been a great opportunity for me to ask the questions, where the answers might hold clues as to why I was able to half my bodyweight, and thereby reach the results I wanted. It was an awesome experience doing this segment, and I will definitely keep on doing it if the opportunity is given, and, if you guys enjoy it.

# INTERVIEW TIMELINE:
* 00:01 - Car talk on the way to the BMR Grand Prix

Training Day Fifty Seven

Yesterday I posted my 100th entry on the website. At that time I didn't know how to celebrate that fact. So, today, I've taken some time and put some effort into it. As a token of my appreciation for all of your interest in me I've filmed parts of today's workout. The clip gives you a peek into my routines and what my current strategy is. Hope you enjoy!

Today's calves and delts workout:
- 3x20 Horizontal calf raises
- 4x12 Horizontal calf raises (Squat machine)
- 4x12 Leg press calf raises
- 5x5 Shoulder press (Smith machine)
- 3x8 Dumbbell front delt raise
- 3x8 Dumbbell lateral delt raise
- 3x12 Cable lateral delt raise
- 3x8 Reverse fly machine
- 3x12 Cable one arm reverse flyes

Just as the video reveals, today's workout was pretty good. The calves workout started out a bit slow, not really enabling me to properly targeting my calves. The delt workout, on the other hand, was strong and steady. All in all, a good day to get a good pump.

My current status - Now in video

This is the first entry I make in the format of video. I have been filming my progress for quite some time now - ever since I got an OK for my operation - and that'll be released later on. However, in order for it to be authentic, I've naturally been talking Swedish through all of that footage. So, for now, I decided to make a short status report in English, where I try to explain what's going on and how I'm currently doing. Enjoy!

Apologies in advance for the awful sound quality. I'll be sure to do better next time I'll post a video.
