Cheat Day Thirty Three

Today, I had the opportunity to taste some of the Swedish delights from medieval times. My girlfriend and I got invited to an evening solely spent in the name of the fourteenth century. Hence, we all dressed up accordingly and ate accordingly. It was an evening of coziness as well as laughter. And here's the food!

Garlic soup, bread, sausages and cheese.

Pork, chicken, chopped carrots, apples and prunes.

Barleycorn pudding with whipped cream and a pear boiled in red wine.

An evening chocolate ball.

Home made bowl with quark, FUN light, banana, strawberries and gingerbread.

It's 1st of December - time to open door number one!

Time to count the calories. Garlic soup, 400 calories. Pork 'n' chicken, 400 calories. Barleycorn pudding, pear and whipped cream, 500 calories. Chocolate ball, 300 calories. Gingerbread bowl, 250 calories. Calender chocolate piece, 30 calories. Take away one meal at 386 calories, and one at 70 calories, and we end up at a total of 1424 extra calories for the evening.

Tonight's entertainment was in fact the whole evening spent with the medieval gang. Hence, the food, the company, and the laughter was more than enough to make my evening. Hope you guys had an awesome evening as well.
